COVID-19 Health Requirements

We have created some COVID-19 safety practices to make your vacation experience with us run smoothly.

Arrival Protocols

When you arrive in Bali, there are several measures you need to take before you can continue your trip. According to the Circular Letter of the Covid-19 National Task Force Number 25 of 2022 concerning Health Protocol for International Travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic, as of 22 September 2022, all international travelers, whether they are Indonesian citizens or foreign nationals, should comply with the regulations below.

  1. Comply with the provisions of the health protocol set by the Government;
  2. Have downloaded PeduliLindungi app and filled out the Indonesian e-HAC; 
  3. Present the card or certificate (physical or digital) of receiving a complete dose of COVID-19 vaccine which is administered at least 14 (fourteen) days before departure written in English other than the language of the country/region of origin of arrival. The proof should also be verified on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia or e-HAC International Indonesia;
  4. Show negative RT-PCR test results in the country/region of origin which samples are taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before the departure time and attached at the time of the health examination or Indonesian International e-HAC;
  5. International travelers exclusively visiting Bali, with the exception of international travelers who are domiciled in Bali, are required to show proof of confirmation of booking and payment for tour packages or lodging accommodation, for a minimum of 4 (four) days in Bali
  6. For international travelers exclusively visiting Bali who are domiciled in Bali are required to show proof of KTP or other valid ID Card
  7. International travelers exclusively visiting Bali with a status of foreign citizen must meet the following requirements:
    1. Show a visit visa or other appropriate entry permit according to the provisions of laws and regulations; and
    2. Show proof of ownership of health insurance which includes financing for handling COVID-19 and medical evacuation to a referral hospital with a minimum coverage value equivalent to IDR 220,000,000 or as determined by the organizer or manager.
  8. Undergo a body temperature check and RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the international travelers entry point;
  9. After RT-PCR sampling upon arrival, the international travelers exclusively visiting Bali may continue with:
    1. Inspection of immigration documents and customs documents;
    2. Baggage collection and baggage disinfection;
    3. Pick up and drop off directly to the hotel, lodging accommodation, or place of residence;
    4. Waiting for the results of the RT-PCR examination in hotel rooms, rooms at lodging accommodations, or places of residence; and
    5. It is not allowed to leave the hotel room or accommodation room before the RT-PCR test results show a negative result.
  10. International travelers who are domiciled in Bali can wait for the results of the RT-PCR examination at their residence and are not allowed to interact with other people before the results of the RT-PCR examination show negative results;
  11. In the event that the results of the RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the entry point as referred to in number 8 show negative results, then the international travelers exclusively visiting Bali can continue to carry out activities according to tour packages or travel plans that have been determined by implementing health protocols strictly. It is also recommended to carry out independent monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days;
  12. In the event that the results of the RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the entry point as referred to in number 8 shows a positive result, then it is followed up with the following provisions:
    1. If asymptomatic or experiencing mild symptoms, isolation or treatment is carried out in isolation hotels or centralized isolation facilities set by the government; or
    2. If accompanied by moderate or severe symptoms, and/or with uncontrolled comorbidities, isolation or treatment at a COVID-19 referral hospital is carried out;
    3. Carry out medical evacuation to the referral hospital in accordance with the procedures established by the destination referral hospital; and
    4. The cost of isolation/treatment for foreigners is borne independently, while for Indonesian citizens it is borne by the government.

Wear a mask and practice social distancing when required by local laws and guidelines

When required by local laws or guidelines, you must:

  • Wear a mask or face covering when interacting in person
  • Maintain 2 meters of distance from each other at all times

Don’t travel if you’ve recently been exposed to or have symptoms of COVID-19

To protect the health and safety of our environment, Guest should not travel and make a reservation in BRV platform if:

  • You are actively infected or have recently tested positive with COVID-19
  • You suspect you are sick or have been exposed and are awaiting test results to confirm or deny a diagnosis of COVID-19
  • You are showing symptoms or are concerned about a possible infection of COVID-19
  • You’ve recently had close, sustained contact with an individual confirmed or suspected to be infected with COVID-19

Wash your hands regularly

Be sure to wash your hands often, especially if you’re in contact with people outside your reservation and are touching surfaces and utensils in a shared space or a common area.

  • Wash your hands properly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol; cover your hands and rub them together until they feel dry

Practicing Social Distancing

When you are in a common area or shared space, follow the local laws and guidelines for wearing a mask and social distancing from anyone who is not part of your reservation.

What to do if you test positive for COVID-19 during your stay

If you recently tested positive for COVID-19 or have started to feel any COVID-19 symptoms, contact a medical professional and consider informing anyone who may have been impacted or potentially exposed, in addition to relevant local authorities.
